Garbrein cultivates a floating trash heap in cold ocean waters, which it fearlessly defends from others who would usurp its rule or destroy the garbage. If it breaks one of its tusks, it fashions a replacement from materials like rebar.

Wild Garbrein favor swimming within polluted seas, ironically helping to clean them as they absorb the trash and pollutants into their bodies. They are frequent invaders of garbage barges and sometimes even sink them to use them as homes.

To protect its herd, the leader battles anything that invades its territory, even at the cost of its life. They absorb garbage and make it part of their bodies.
