Flafarig live in dense forests, surviving on a diet of vegetation that they char themselves. If it burns too much woodland, it will quickly run out of food, so its long neck allows it to burn only the highest leaves.

A Flafarig is an herbivore--it eats grass and tree shoots. Flafarig's fluffy fur releases heat into the air so that its body does not get excessively hot.
