Ently is difficult to spot in the wild, as it often masks its movements by hiding among plumes of smoke emitted from volcanoes. It has occasionally been observed hiding in a similar fashion near factory smokestacks.

When smoke billows from the top of an active volcano, Ently emerge in droves. Their bodies are made of volcanic smoke, which eventually dissolves into pure ash if Ently does not evolve.

When exposed to a strong wind, a Ently's gaseous body quickly dwindles away. Ently embodies the passion of magma.
