Staring into Duskclops's glaring red eye can paralyze a victim with fear. Horror stories say that once its prey is immobilized, Duskclops's upper body detaches and sucks the frozen target's soul into its being.
It is thought that its body is hollow with only a spectral ball of fire burning inside. The antenna on its head captures radio waves from the world of spirits that command it to take people there.
