No one is sure whether Drifbtrum existed before the invention of the DNA Splicers. An ancient scroll mentioning it is widely believed to be a forgery or mistake. However, scientists have noted that when Drifbtrum passes on, it leaves no body behind.

Thanks to its gargantuan jaws, which could shred thick metal plates as if they were paper, it was invincible in the ancient world it once inhabited. It's drowzy in daytime, but flies off in the evening in big groups.
