Deiceus's blindness coupled with its aggression makes it a danger to go anywhere near. If it becomes angered, it rains down beams of powerful light indiscriminately around it in the hopes of taking down whatever wrought its ire.

It is described in mythology as the Pokémon that shaped the universe with its 1,000 arms. They cannot see, so they tackle and bite to learn about their surroundings.
