Crophox can be found in caves, using their stick to create fiery bat-like flames. These flames are multi-purpose, used by Crophox to both light their way as well as to burn those that disturb them.
It gazes into the flame at the tip of its branch to achieve a focused state, which allows it to see into the future. Over the course of evolution, its hind legs turned into wings.
