Chinchou #170.170
Chinchou's tendrils act like wires, both conducting and absorbing kinetic energy, usually latching onto larger Pokémon.
Its many dazzling, electric lures attract any deep sea Pokémon that sees it shining in the darkness. It wraps its prey in its gleaming tendrils, paralyzing them with powerful electric charges.
In eastern regions, spotting this rare Chinchou near the surface is believed to serve as a warning of an incoming natural disaster. In western regions, however, they are seen as a rare and lucky sight that brings promises of good fortune.
When it senses danger, it discharges positive and negative electricity from its two antennae. When it senses danger, it discharges positive and negative electricity from its two antennae.
