Charina are unusually shy, considering their DNA components, and are used for simple labor within their colonies. They need encouragement from their Trainer to give it their all in battles.
Its large ears are extremely sensitive to noise; if there is too much commotion, Charina flies into a rage, and the flame on its tail flares menacingly. Its back is covered with venom-soaked spines that serve as protection against other Pokémon.
When it is with its friends or family, its barbs are tucked away to prevent injury. Without pity, its sharp claws destroy foes.
