Chareon are often found around beaches at the base of volcanic activity. They play with the surf, keeping themselves safe by heating their bodies to evaporate any loose water that may douse their tail flame.
Chareon underwent a spontaneous mutation and grew fins and gills that allow them to live underwater. The flame that burns at the tip of its tail is an indication of its emotions.
