Charow often go out of their way to burn down other Pokémon's nests, especially if they appear tidier. The only thing that dampens their temper is the rain, which causes them to stay put to avoid extinguishing their tail flame.
Its long neck and elongated beak are ideal for catching prey in soil or water. The flame that burns at the tip of its tail is an indication of its emotions.
