When it grows hungry, Chandelster ignites the tips of its spines, drawing undersea denizens closer with the hypnotic glow of the flames' light. Once they come close, it opens its shell, and sucks the soul of its victim within.
It swims in the sea by swallowing water, then jetting it out toward the rear. Being consumed in Chandelster's flame burns up the spirit, leaving the body behind.
