Cardon's crystalline portions, particularly its horn, are incredibly solid to the point of being nearly indestructible. It uses its horn as a drill to dig into stone depths and dig up crystals, its favorite meal.
Its horn, which rotates like a drill, destroys tall buildings with one strike. Born from the high temperatures and pressures deep underground, it defends itself by firing beams from the jewel part of its body.
