Hundreds of millions of years ago, Carorus resided in caves near the end of frozen tundras. Ancient people worshipped them, as their glistening frills in the night resembled auroras. It is believed that they are the distant ancestors of Megaswine.

Using its diamond-shaped crystals, it can instantly create a wall of ice to block an opponent's attack. Born from the high temperatures and pressures deep underground, it defends itself by firing beams from the jewel part of its body.
