Wild Charuff are hard to come across, but when seen in the wild, they are always roughhousing with one another. As Trainer-kept Pokémon, Charuff are quite friendly and fiercely loyal to their owners.

Sandits are usually quite shy and would rather run away than interact with other people or Pokémon. When cornered, Sandits shouts loudly and snaps its jaws at anything that gets too close.

After evolving, Charuff becomes less friendly toward other Pokémon, often picking unnecessary fights with wild Pokémon. Its loyalty to its Trainer remains strong, but it sometimes fights ally Pokémon, making it difficult to train.

The average temper of a Charoc is short. This Pokémon now refuses to get along with any Pokémon, including those owned by its own Trainer. Thankfully, it shows more restraint now that it has evolved.
