Despite its fearsome appearance, Arcaring is wary of humans and hides deep within the forest to avoid them. However, if anyone threatens its young, it flies into a rage and unleashes fiery blasts powerful enough to burn entire woods to ashes.
In forests, it is said that there are many streams and towering trees where an Arcaring gathers food. This fleet-footed Pokémon is said to run over 6,200 miles in a single day and night.
