Abper are docile enough to be easily kept around humans but still have the instincts of an Absol. They are kept at rocket launch sites to detect if a natural disaster or extreme weather will interfere with a launch.
Abper usually live in water but come out onto land seeking food occasionally. It sharply senses even subtle changes in the sky and the land to predict natural disasters.
