Because Skitbat is covered in a layer of soft fur, it is able to fly and hunt during the day. At night groups of Skitbat sleep hanging upside down from cave ceilings, wrapping their tails around one another to stay close.
While living in pitch-black caverns, their eyes gradually grew shut and deprived them of vision. A Skitbat's adorably cute behavior makes it highly popular.
