Azumalax spend most of their time in rivers and streams, often leading them to block navigable waterways while napping. Only a rousing Belly Drum from another Azumalax seems to be able to wake them.

Azumalax spends almost all of its time in the water, falling asleep while floating on its back. A thick layer of fat keeps it insulated and buoyant.

Azumalax's typical day consists of nothing more than eating and sleeping. It lives in water virtually all day long.
